Phones havenâ€™t always come with kickass night modes that let us see in the dark. A few years ago, if you wanted to take a photo in low light, you had to turn on your cameraâ€™s flash before snapping the photo. Otherwise, youâ€™d be met with a blurry mess of a photo that only sort of resembles the subject.

Now that most major smartphone OEMs have implemented nighttime photography modes into their cameras, I have a feeling weâ€™re all using our camera flashes less often.
